RUTA DE LA MÍSTICA
In 2006, the Ayuntamiento of Gotarrendura decided to organise a route in commemoration of Santa Teresa de Jesús el 28 de marzo de 1515. So in 2006, they organized a route "Por los caminos de la Mística", covering the
distance which unites the localities of Gotarrendura, cuna de Santa Teresa y Fontiveros, cuna de San Juan de la Cruz. This destination was chosen, Fontiveros due to the friendship that unites Santa Teresa de Jesús with San Juan de la Cruz.
So the Ayuntamiento of Gotarrendura and the Ayuntamiento of Fontiveros organized the route between these two places.
The route from Fontiveros to Gotarrendura was realised. The distance of the route is 22km and it crosses through rural townships, including Gotarrendura, El Oso, Papatrigo, Narros de Saldueña and Fontiveros.
